I am writing this letter in recommendation of Adam Jaksa. I initially worked with Adam during our 2017 season of National Pro Fastpitch, when we hired Adam as a broadcaster for regular season games of one of our franchised professional teams. Adam came highly recommended by a mutual associate of ours, Joe Davis, who happens to be the play by play broadcaster for the Los Angeles Dodgers, among other things. I was very impressed with the professionalism in which Adam initially and consistently handled business outside the broadcasting itself. He was attentive to detail and responded to correspondence in a timely manner. He communicated effectively with me at the league level, with his team contact, and with the broadcasting group. From the broadcasting booth, Adam was fantastic. His research and thoroughness in the telecasts was impressive and certainly did the players and their teams justice. He has an ease in delivery that provides a comfortable and enjoyable listen and also the ability to make “the call” with excitement. We continue to engage Adam in our league telecasts and feel fortunate to have him involved in our coverage. I highly recommend him as not only an enjoyable and well-rounded broadcaster, but also as a professional at every level.
The late Don Chiodo - Former Play-by-Play Voice for Central Michigan University
Having spent more than three decades working with fellow sports broadcasters, I can't think of another young sports broadcaster who is ready for a big opportunity more than Adam Jaksa. Adam understands everything that goes into making a compelling broadcast from preparation to working with his analyst and weaving in the many elements needed to give the listener/viewer the best experience. Not only is Adam a talented broadcaster, but he has a great attitude. Adam understands that seeking constructive criticism and feedback is how you improve. He also understands the difference between calling a game for a network and being the "voice" of an entity. You can count on Adam to protect your "brand" while still maintaining the integrity of the broadcast. Having worked with Adam over the past few years, I can attest to his outstanding work ethic and unwavering quest to put the best product on the air. I can cite several instances where Adam has shown great judgment and went beyond the call to improve our Learfield/IMG College broadcasts. I would wholeheartedly recommend him for any opportunity that you have available as he will only make your organization better.
Todd Edwards - Director/Producer for the New Jersey Devils
I am writing this letter on behalf of Adam Jaksa. I had the pleasure of working along side Adam for 2 years at Central Michigan University and cannot speak highly enough of the experience. Not only is Adam an extremely talented play-by-play broadcaster and video editor but he is also a great leader and great person. In addition to his well-rounded set of skills, he’s also the hardest working person I’ve ever worked with. During his time at CMU, Adam has helped develop a weekly football coaches show completely on his own while also expanding on and improving the overall quality of the nearly 80 broadcasts that he is in charge of on a yearly basis. This wouldn’t be possible without an unrivaled work ethic and willingness to go the extra distance in his job no matter what. Adam always puts the CMU Athletic department first and sets a fantastic example for the multitude of students that he has working underneath him. Despite the workload he has and the dedication he shows to improving upon his play-by-play abilities, he always makes time for the student workers that look up to him for guidance; always putting the needs of others ahead of his own. I have no doubt in my mind that Adam is destined for big things in his career as well as in his personal life and I would have no problem recommending him for any job involving broadcasting and video production. Adam’s passion for what he does is inspiring to all those around him and he is truly one of the most talented young men in division one collegiate athletics.

Please accept this letter of recommendation for Adam Jaksa. I served as Adam's talent coach for 5+ years. It's an honor to write this, as Adam was one of my favorite clients for a number of reasons. He stands out personally and professionally, and I guarantee Adam would be a great edition to your school, team, network or radio station. Adam is passionate, smart, mature, and is extremely likeable both on and off-air. Adam and I worked together each week on the fundamentals of play-by-play, interviewing, and hosting a show. Adam's ability to call basketball, football, and baseball games, has developed rapidly over the years we'd been working together. This is a testament to his eagerness to learn and his work ethic. From the moment I began coaching Adam, I knew he was someone who was destined to be a huge success in our business. Talent, work-ethic, and character is always a winning combination. Please feel free to contact me if I can be of further help.
John Bonamego - Former Central Michigan Head Football Coach
I am writing this recommendation letter on behalf of Adam Jaksa. I have known Adam for 5 years, and in that time, I have found him to be very professional and hard working. Adam started Chippewa Rewind in 2015, a weekly show that he hosted with me. It recaped our football games, while giving an in depth analysis of the intricacies behind some of our coaching decisions. Adam always was extremely prepared, which made my job very easy and created an enjoyable watch. In addition to hosting a show, Adam showed us his expertise in play-by-play as well calling men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball, wrestling and gymnastics, all on ESPN3. It takes an extremely driven, hard working, and experienced person to be a jack-of-all-trades in this challenging business. I would highly recommend Adam for any position that you are considering him for. Whether it is TV or radio play-by-play, Adam will do an extraordinary job. From the first day I met him, I noticed Adam as an extremely motivated person who has great passion to become the best broadcaster he can be. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me on Adam’s behalf. Thanks for your time and consideration.

I'm writing this letter of recommendation for Adam Jaksa. I've had the pleasure of knowing Adam for a few years now, and I've never seen a more committed broadcaster. His eagerness for and reception to feedback is unmatched. He's willing to do whatever it takes to get better and he recognizes that it's a process. In my volunteer work with Adam and his students, I've seen him grow so much over the last few years. He's constantly seeking out feedback from myself and anyone else who would be willing to weigh in. I've also noticed Adam's leadership since he took over as Interim Director of Multimedia Services. It's a challenge to lead young people, and an especially difficult task when they're students. Adam has developed into a great leader while also working diligently to grow his skills as a broadcaster. I put my full endorsement behind Adam Jaksa as he's just beginning to scratch the surface of his abilities as a broadcaster. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
