Adam Jaksa
Adam Jaksa is a play-by-play announcer who is currently the radio and TV 'Voice of the Chippewas' at his alma mater, Central Michigan University. Adam broadcasts football, men's basketball and baseball on the radio, while calling basketball, gymnastics, volleyball and wrestling on ESPN+ for the Chippewas.
In January 2026, Adam made his Big Ten Network debut broadcasting wrestling between Michigan State and Purdue. In June 2025, Adam made his Major League Baseball debut on the radio calling the Athletics and the Tigers.
For the last eight years, Adam has also gained valuable experience in professional baseball broadcasting the Lansing Lugnuts (Blue Jays and now Athletics affiliate) on the radio and TV.
Adam has had the opportunity to broadcast five Mid-American Conference championships on ESPN+, three wrestling championships and two gymnastics championships.
For five years (2017-2022), Adam spent time broadcasting all kinds of different sports on digital platforms including National Pro Fastpitch softball, G-league basketball (Grand Rapids Gold and Motor City Cruise), ACC and SoCon baseball and field hockey, along with Michigan high school football.
A life-long Michigander, Adam was raised just south of Lansing, in Eaton Rapids, where he spent time watching, listening and playing sports with his mom, dad and two sisters. Adam attended Central Michigan University, he received his bachelor's degree in Broadcast and Cinematic Arts with a minor in Sports Management.
